Job Pics

Below is a job where the original builder didn't have enough concrete for the slab.  Later the new owners pulled the plywood cap and we filled it with concrete.  After the concrete cured we united the room with a slate overlay in a mocha color.  We also added tile lines for enhanced appearance.

UAF had a decorative concrete request for the Botanical Gardens.  We started with a grassy patch of dirt and poured an intricate concrete base.  The edges are exposed aggregate with the same pattern on the internal diamonds.  The larger portion was hand stained with a terra cotta translucent stain that colors but still has some character from the natural concrete colors.  This summer you will find planter boxes set up by the garden curators for community access and care.

Another Client had a very weather front porch.  50+ years of snow, ice, rain and sun has taken toll on the surface of the patio.  Pitted and chips flaking leaving the surface exposed to further environmental erosion.  We built up areas where the corner had broken off and gave the patio a new surface that now blocks out ice and the elements.
